Oxford Village Election, Tuesday, June 15, 2021
- Poll site: Village of Oxford Fire Department
- Polls open at noon and close at 9:00 PM
- Please contact the Chenango County Board of Elections for an absentee ballot. COVID-19 concern remains a valid reason in 2021 to request an Absentee Ballot and selecting Temporary Illness as the reason for your request.

- The deadline for submitting a Political Party enrollment change for the State and Local Primary Election to be held on June 22nd must be received by the Chenango County Board no later than 5 PM, Tuesday, February 16th. The Board of Elections is located at 5 Court St., Norwich, NY.
- Commencing June 29th enrollment changes will then become effective immediately.

2021 Petition and Caucus Dates to Remember
- First day to circulate a Designating Petition is March 2, 2021. Filing dates are March 22-25 9 am to 5 pm.
- First day to hold a caucus is March 2, 2021. July 26, 2021 is the last date to file Certificate of Nomination.
- First day to circulate an Independent Petition is April 13, 2021. Filing dates are May 18-25 9 am 50 5 pm.

Early Voting for the June 22, 2021 REPUBLICAN ONLY PRIMARY will be conducted at the Board of Elections, 5 Court Street, Norwich, NY on the following dates and times:

June 12, 13, 19 and 20 9AM to 2PM
June 14, 16, 18 from 9AM to 5PM
June 15 and 17 9AM to 8PM

The Board of Elections office is the sole polling site in Chenango County for Early Voting. If you would like to request an absentee ballot, including concern for exposure to COVID-19, please click the link on the left side panel our website. You may also request an Absentee Ballot through the voting portal on the New York State Board of Elections website at: Voter Search Screen for Absentee Ballot Request (ny.gov)

You can drop off your voted Chenango County Absentee Ballot during Early Voting at the Board of Elections office, or on Election Day at any Chenango County polling site. Absentee Ballots from other counties CANNOT be accepted in Chenango County.
