To serve as an Inspector you:

Must be a registered voter and a resident of the county in
which you will work;

Cannot hold any public elective office or be a candidate for
any public office or party position to be voted on by voters
of the district in which you will work;

May not be the spouse, parent or child of a candidate running
for office in the district in which you will work;

Must be able to clearly speak, read and write the English
language;

Must be certified as an Inspector by the County Board of
Elections after having attended an official training class and
by passing a written test.
