PRIMARY ELECTIONS HAVE BEEN COMBINED IN NEW YORK STATE AND THERE WILL NO LONGER BE A SEPTEMBER PRIMARY.

LOCAL, COUNTY, STATE, AND FEDERAL OFFICES, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE PRESIDENT, WILL BE CONDUCTED EACH JUNE.

THE 2019 PRIMARY ELECTION DATE – TUESDAY, JUNE 25. POLLING SITES WILL BE OPEN IN THOSE TOWNS HAVING A PRIMARY ELECTION FROM NOON TO 9 PM

1ST DAY TO CIRCULATE DESIGNATING PETITIONS OR CONDUCT A CAUCUS IS FEBRUARY 26, 2019
FILING DATES FOR DESIGNATING PETITIONS - APRIL 1 THROUGH 4
LAST DATE FOR FILING NOMINATIONS MADE AT A CAUCUS - JULY 25
FIRST DATE TO FILE AN INDEPENDENT PETITION - APRIL 16
FILING DATES FOR INDEPENDENT PETITIONS – May 21-28
THE GENERAL ELECTION WIL BE HELD TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5. POLLING SITES WILL BE OPEN COUNTY WIDE FROM 6 AM TO 9 PM.

10/26, 27, 11/2, 3, 9:00 AM-2:00 PM
10/28, 30, 11/1, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
10/29, 31, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm
