    For electronically filed civil actions commenced ON OR AFTER DECEMBER 26, 2022, please use NYSCEF (New York State Courts Electronic Filing) to search. Our COTT hosted public records search database will NOT reflect these cases or their corresponding dockets. You will however, be able to view any money judgments, satisfactions, and lis pendens that arise from the cases but the actual docket will not be viewable. Our vendor is working diligently to resolve this issue.

- For recent amendments to the New York Executive Law, 2023 Session. Law News of N.Y. Ch. 188 (S.7561). This statutory amendment changes the renewal process for notaries public. Whereas previously, notaries public renewed their commissions through the county clerk, on and after June 30, 2023, notaries seeking renewal will do so through the Department of State. To renew a commission, notaries should visit the New York Business Express at: www.businessexpress.ny.gov/app/answers/cms/a_id/2561/kw/notary. Information has also been posted at the DOS Website at: dos.ny.gov/notary-public.
